Julian Johnstone
Commercial Litigation Principal
Julian Johnstone is a Principal and the head of Druces’ Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. He specialises in resolving clients’ disputes in a cost effective and commercial manner, through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and Court proceedings. He focuses in particular on international arbitrations, shareholder and company disputes and property issues.
Julian graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1989. He was called to the bar (Grays’ Inn) in 1993 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in March 1996 and has over 15 years’ experience in dispute resolution and litigation. He is a solicitor advocate and a CEDR qualified mediator. Julian joined Druces LLP on 16 November 2009.
Julian lives with his wife and daughter in Kensal Green in London. He enjoys music, wine, golf and fishing.
