Legal 500, the leading law firm directory,  has recognised a record 19 Druces lawyers as leaders in their respective fields and the firm has seen four of its practice areas move up a tier in their respective league tables.  This means that over the last two years, more than half of the Druces practice areas featured in Legal 500 have either been promoted or included for the first time, a real measure of the firm’s upward trajectory.  

In particular, the firm’s M&A practice, promoted to Tier 2 in the category ‘M&A smaller deals, up to £50m‘, was described as ‘approachable and responsive’, noting the arrival of new partners, David Bennett and David Smith. The directory also recognised the firm’s recent hire of partners Robert Macro and Neil Morris in moving the firm up a tier in the category ‘Personal tax, trusts and probate‘, describing the two new partners as providing ‘advice that you can trust’ and remarking on the firm’s private client practice as ‘a highly intelligent team that always seeks to provide a practical solution’.

In addition, more Druces lawyers than ever have been recommended as a leaders in their field.
