Charles Avens is a Solicitor in Druces LLP’s Employment team, specialising in employment law and all HR related matters. His practice involves a mix of contentious and non-contentious work. He enjoys providing private and corporate clients with practical and effective solutions to employment issues, including the engagement and termination of staff, internal employment procedures, company re-organisations and dispute resolution. Charles graduated with a BA (Hons) in Modern History at Exeter University in 2001. He was Called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in October 2004 as a (non-practising) barrister and cross-qualified as a solicitor in August 2009. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Charles has a passion for Political, Military and Art History and enjoys visiting historical sites and art galleries. He also enjoys travelling, opera, film and golf.
