Susan Perry - Senior Associate, Corporate & Commercial

Susan Perry is a Senior Associate in Druces’ Corporate & Commercial  team and she leads Druces’ Entrepreneurs’ group. Susan deals with a wide range of corporate and commercial matters and has a particular interest in joint ventures and directors’ duties (on which she writes and lectures).  Susan regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, joint ventures, start ups, spin outs and contractual negotiations. She also specialises in taxation and tax planning matters for corporate and private clients, with a particular interest in property taxation, focusing on Stamp Duty Land Tax, VAT on Commercial Property and the Construction Industry Scheme.

Susan read Jurisprudence at Corpus Christi College, Oxford and trained with the firm. Susan is a member of The Association of Taxation Technicians and a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers. She is also author/editor of three chapters of Tolley’s Company Law and has contributed numerous articles to various publications. Susan is a big fan of the England cricket team and the wines of Burgundy.  She also enjoys opera and writes about it for a London-based lifestyle website.
