Commercial litigation

Druces’ Commercial Litigation team has extensive experience in a broad range of commercial litigation issues, including complex contractual disputes, contentious probate, partnership and Limited Liability (LLP) issues under the Partnership Act 1890 and the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2000, Company and Shareholder actions under the Companies Act 2006, professional negligence claims, commercial agency disputes under Regulations, commodity trading disputes,  High Court employment claims in relation to restrictive covenants and confidentiality, claims arising under the Insolvency Act 1986, information technology (IT) and intellectual property (IP) disputes, claims for breach of duty and confidence, defamation, claims for accounts and injunctions, and mis-use of confidential information.

We represent clients primarily in the High Court (including in the Chancery Division, the Queen’s Bench Division, the Commercial Court, the Compand the Technology and Construction Court (TCC)) and the Court of Appeal, in the County Courts, and the Supreme Court. We also act for clients in arbitrations and adjudications, and mediation. We also provide clients with a flexible debt collection service.

We regularly advise and act for international and domestic clients in respect of cross- border jurisdictional issues and we are a member of a strong network of business law firms across a large number of international jurisdictions, called the Alliance of Business Lawyers. This allows us to obtain expert advice and representation on international litigation claims in many jurisdictions throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia.
