Founded in 1767, Druces is an ambitious City of London law firm known for advising public and privately-owned businesses, financial institutions and wealthy individuals across a range of industries and sectors.
With over 250 years of experience, we combine cutting-edge legal advice with a responsive, partner-led service and pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we build with our clients.
We provide high-value expertise in the areas of corporate and capital markets, banking and finance, private wealth, dispute resolution and residential and commercial real estate.
Our international expertise
A large part of our work has an international dimension and we were founder members of the Alliance of Business Lawyers. This worldwide network of law firms enables us to deliver an excellent cross-border service for clients in the UK and overseas, regularly advising international clients on English law matters.
Through mergers with City law firms Ronaldsons and Sykes Anderson Perry, Druces has been able to strengthen its capital markets, private client and real estate teams.
This has led, for example, to the firm developing the capacity to provide specialist tax, property and legal services for clients in French speaking jurisdictions such as France, Monaco, Switzerland and more. It has also led to our capital markets team becoming leaders in the natural resources sector, advising businesses often operating in Africa, North America and beyond.

Our award-winning services
Druces is consistently listed in legal directories such as Legal 500, Chambers, STEP, Spears and more across our full range of services.
We pride ourselves on the level of service we provide, many of our clients come to us because as well as providing standard compliance services, we also offer bespoke advisory services aimed at delivering effective solutions to the unique issues our clients face.
Because of this, we are happy to have picked up several awards in recent years. We have won awards at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, Future Leaders Awards and more in categories such as ‘Law Firm of the Year’, ‘Property Law Firm of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Individual of the Year’ (Robert Macro).
We have also won awards with Wealth Briefing, most recently winning ‘International Legal & Fiduciary Team’ at their European Awards in 2020. Our Capital Markets team is recognised in the ‘AIM Advisers Rankings Guide’ as a Top 20 law firm for AIM clients and ranked in the Top 3 for number of clients in the natural resources sector.
