Robert Macro, Head of City law firm Druces’ International Wealth and Fiduciary practice, has been named ‘Private Client Lawyer of the Year’ at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2018. This represents yet another confirmation that Druces continues to be recognised as one of the pre-eminent players in the Private Wealth sector.
Showcasing ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the awards were designed to recognise companies, teams and individuals which the panel of judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence’ during 2017. Druces Private Client team was also shortlisted for Private Client Law Firm of the Year at these awards.
Commenting on his success, Robert Macro said: “I am personally delighted to have been voted the winner of this prestigious award by so many of the industry’s stakeholders. It is a great honour to be recognised in these awards, and is also testament to the hard work our Private Client team at Druces has put in over the last 12 months and not just myself personally”.
Senior Partner, Roy Campbell, commented: “It’s been a really great 18 months for Druces, culminating in the announcement of our merger with London law firm Ronaldsons just a few weeks ago. We are delighted that Rob has won this award, which we believe is testament to the work, dedication and commitment that Rob and the Private Client Team make to the firm, and beyond to the wider impact that they have on our clients.
Note: Druces has also been shortlisted for four further awards over the coming months:
