Druces is pleased to announce that Estelle Tague and Paul Levy have both been promoted to partner within its award-winning Private Wealth team. Alice Johnson is also promoted, becoming an Associate.

Paul Levy promoted to Partner

Paul joined Druces in 2017, rising to Senior Associate in 2018. His practice covers a broad range of work for UK and international families and entrepreneurs, including complex tax planning. Court of Protection and contentious work are other focuses and, notably, Paul acted for the widow, in a claim regarding her late husband’s Will, in the recent case of Eade v Hogg [2021] EWHC 1057 (Ch).

Estelle Tague promoted to Partner

Estelle joined Druces in 2020 as Senior Counsel. Her focus is on international wealth and fiduciary work, advising a mix of (U)HWIs, trustees and property owners. Estelle’s career began in the tax field (including a tax pupillage at Pump Court Tax Chambers) and, in addition to estate planning, her expertise encompasses SDLT, tax planning on divorce and the handling of HMRC investigations.

Alice Johnson promoted to Associate

Alice has been at Druces since 2019, building up strong experience in a range of Private Wealth matters such as Wills, LPAs and estate and tax planning. She is also developing her practice in Contentious Probate and Charity law.

Robert Macro, Head of Private Wealth, commented:

“What a pleasure to announce these three promotions in our Private Wealth team. Estelle joined us during the pandemic, as an already experienced adviser to families with complex international needs. Paul’s stature has been growing in recent years – including recognition from Legal 500 and Citywealth – and the firm is delighted to see both of them step up to partnership, alongside Alice’s much deserved promotion to Associate. These promotions mark the beginning of the latest chapter of our Private Wealth team’s growth story.”

Paul said:

“It is a great pleasure to be appointed as a partner at Druces and I am looking forward to working alongside Rob in helping to shape the future of the team.” Estelle agreed, commenting, “There is no let-up in the demand for sophisticated tax and estate planning advice at the moment and it is good to be part of this growing team”.
