Druces’ construction team advises developers, consultants, contractors, funders, insurers and end users on all aspects of construction law on a wide range of commercial, infrastructure, retail and residential projects and mixed use developments across the UK and abroad.

We advise and represent clients on industry standard form building contracts, consultant appointments and warranty documents and produce a wide variety of bespoke project documentation to cover all stages of construction projects. These include advising on tendering and procurement strategies, framework and partnering agreements, pre-construction services agreements and strategic alliancing arrangements, bespoke appointments, collateral warranties, third party rights for funders, end users and associated contract documentation required for the successful implementation of a construction project on time and on budget.

We are also here to assist when difficulties arise on a project, giving practical advice on contractual issues and dispute avoidance strategies to contractual claims preparation and responses.

  • We continue to advise a sporting body on the redevelopment of numerous stands and other areas of its stadia, including advice on procurement, planning and media related issues.
  • We advised a renowned university on construction documents and related issues for the construction of a new Sports Centre.
  • We continue to advise a major London developer on the construction of a new build hotel in the City.
  • We continue to act for developers with regards to their central and west end London property redevelopments for new office, retail and high end residential projects.
  • We act for institutional funders and Banks advising on construction matters and documents with regards  to their development funding facilities throughout the UK”
