Caroline is a Senior Associate in the corporate and commercial Team. She has extensive experience advising businesses (and their investors) on corporate law issues at all stages of their development, from incorporation to disposal.
In this role Caroline deals with mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and situations of distressed/forced sale.
Caroline has a particular interest in business corporate restructuring and insolvency and regularly advises clients on corporate governance issues, including directors’ duties. She has particular expertise advising charities and their trustees.
Caroline is known for her skill at providing real time, on her feet, advice in situations where quick, commercial resolution is essential and has built up a strong reputation for her clear, strategic thinking.
Caroline is a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
In Legal 500, 2019 Caroline is recognised for her focus on corporate issues within the areas of charities and not-for-profit. The 2017 edition remarked that she is ‘very clear in her advice’.
