Katie Mitchell is a solicitor in the Druces LLP Private Client Department. Katie advises on all aspects of private client work including the drafting of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney and estate and tax planning for both UK domiciled and non-domiciled individuals.
Katie advises high net worth clients in relation to disclosures to HMRC and international tax planning. Katie also has experience in the administration of UK estates, incorporating and advising charities, contentious probate and dealing with capacity issues and the Court of Protection.
Katie has published articles on various private client issues in the Private Client Adviser and is a contributor to Planning and Administration of Offshore and Onshore Trusts (Bloomsbury Professional). She is a student member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Katie has been recognised in the CityWealth “Top 100 Future Leaders list 2018” and has been nominated as a “Woman of the Year – Rising Star” in the CityWealth Power Women Awards 2019.
