Many congratulations to Druces’ team of 7 runners who completed the 2019 Standard Chartered Great City 5K on Tuesday evening (16th July). Together with more than 6,000 other runners from institutions across the City, our team included lawyers and business services staff from across the firm.
Business Services Assistant, Brian Pike, was our fastest finisher, coming in at 23 mins 10 seconds. Special mention to Sarah Dahabiyeh who took part in the 5K run (coming in at 28 mins 39 seconds) whilst 7 months pregnant! Our congratulations to her for this amazing effort.
The official race beneficiary is Futuremakers, a global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion for young people in our communities. £10 from each entry fee to the race will be donated to Futuremakers and will support their work to promote economic inclusion and empower our next generation.
