How we support clients
Druces pioneered investment in property syndication for private investors more than 20 years ago, enabling individuals to join syndicates in order to invest in commercial property as part of a group. Today we are remain expert in handling the sale and purchase of investment property. We collaborate closely with our other specialist teams (tax, construction, finance and planning) to deliver a joined-up service and positive outcome for any transaction.
We advise a wide range of clients in this field. This starts with the initial purchase of an investment property through a nominee company, its subsequent management and on to its eventual disposal. Investing in this way is a perfect solution for individuals who want a stake in commercial property but do not have the financial backing, experience or inclination to act alone. We work with many property syndicators, establishing tax efficient vehicles for co-investment in commercial property.
To date, we have concluded in excess of 300 private property syndicates. These include mezzanine loan syndicates, an expanding area. Druces has also assisted clients with conversion to REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) status.
Types of clients we support
Investing in property requires specialised advice and advisers. Druces’ Investment Team acts for a diverse client base from REITs, financial institutions, property companies, pension funds, property syndicators and high net worth individuals. We have particular sector experience across retail, office and industrial properties.
